With large events where there will be 50 or more guests attending, Ariana has a couple of helpful strategies.

1. Include Ariana’s “Lips Wrangler” into your budget.  This is usually a Lipsologist in training and they will manage the line, give the guests hints as to what they will be finding out from Ariana, keep the station neat and organized or when there’s limited room, can give out the lipsticks and kiss cards to the guests, and will make sure the guests are either keeping their lipstick or discarding it (instead of putting it back in the clean lipstick container).  Our “Lips Wrangler” also will help to keep the line flowing and can stop the inflow to the line when we’re nearing the end of Ariana’s time as well as being able to answer guests questions and more! 2. Ariana is one of a business dynamic duo owning Lipsology, LLC so she has the list of all the Certified Lipsologists at her fingertips.  She can call on more Lipsologists to double the fun!

Here are your Lipstick options:

1st and most popular option – Yes.  All brand new lipsticks are included in Ariana’s fees for smaller events.  The lipsticks can be kept or discarded. If the event is very large with longer hours of entertainment, a surcharge for extra lipsticks may be added.

2nd option – YOU provide the lipstick. The lipstick needs to be a strong color that will print well on a white background dark and NON-frosted colors of lipsticks work well and need to be a moist lipstick and not matte so they will make a print. For example, Wet-N-Wild Silk Finish. Also, no lip balm (invisible on the page) and no gloss (there are a couple of exceptions) because it tends to smear and not leave your guests with a good clear memento of kisses on their cards to take home.  There are some strongly tinted glosses that work – speak with Ariana if you want more information.

All Options – Guests can bring their own lipstick with the same caveat that it be a moist lipstick in a strong color and NOT lip gloss because it smears and is not, therefore, as good a keepsake for them to take home.  The guys often want to know if they can use lip balm – Ariana tells them the lipsticks she brings come right back off and points them to the makeup remover towelettes that are on the kissing station next to the lipsticks.

Spacing Options: Want Ariana to fit in a smaller area or have a smaller group… no problem… just let Ariana know what your space will be like and she can work out with you how to set up the “kissing station” and where she does her readings.  With virtual events this is not an issue.  Whatever your space, Ariana will work with you and your setup needs.

A lot of people think that Lipsology is like fortune telling and though there are some similarities, one big difference is that it doesn’t have to be a private reading. Lipsology is often a group event where everyone can hear each-other’s readings. Therefore, you can put Ariana in the middle of all the excitement, in the front, or wherever your guests can find her.  Also, good lighting is a must for seeing the details in a lip print. If your event has lower lighting Ariana can bring clip-on lamps for her “kissing station” and also for her table. Having access to electricity is helpful though she also has a portable battery. Just let her know what your setup will be. Good lighting on the “kissing station” so your guests can read the signs explaining about putting on the lipstick, kissing the cards, etc. and a good light where Ariana is doing her readings so she can see the lip prints is essential.

Where not to put her? Try really hard not to put Ariana next to or in the same room as the DJ or band if at all possible. Telling people their lip prints messages relies on your guests being able to hear Ariana speak.  If you are having an outdoor event, Ariana needs to be in full shade (lipsticks melt and so does Ariana) and have some kind of wind-break so that the kiss cards and signs don’t blow away with the wind.
